The Governor's Message

Hyogo Prefecture is the hometown of Wagyu and is the production area of the world-renowned Kobe Beef. People of Hyogo have been improving Tajima Cattle, which produce Kobe Beef, for more than 100 years by recording and managing their pedigree to keep them purebred.

Kobe Beef, produced from Tajima Cattle with their long tradition passed down over the years, boasts a delicious fat aroma, flavor, and melt-in-your-mouth texture, and it is now being delivered to people around the world under thorough brand management.

Kobe Beef has been nurtured through a deep interaction with the lifestyle in farming villages surrounded by nature. This practice is in line with the philosophy of the SDGs to pass sustainable initiatives on to future generations.

Here at the Kobe Beef Gallery, I do hope that you will experience the value and appeal of Kobe Beef.
